Professional Cleaning For Your Motorhome or 5th Wheel in Flint MI & The Surrounding Areas

April 2019 is here and that means you might be planning your next family vacation. If you have an RV or 5th wheel that’s been sitting in storage for the past several months, there’s a good chance when you open the door you’ll be hit with a musty smell. The best thing for your RV is opening up all doors and windows and let nature take care of the majority of the odor issue. Fresh air is the best option for these situations. Quite often must and mildew can set into the carpet and seating though.

When fresh air doesn’t cure the issue completely, call Absolute ProCare to freshen up those areas. You’ll love the way your RV smells when I get done with it! My deodorizers are the best in the industry.Believe me, I’ve tested them all. When I complete a thorough carpet and upholstery cleaning in your RV, I offer an Odor Treatment that smells great and will not simply “mask” the odors. If this product makes contact with the odor source, it will eliminate it. No other product out there smells better! For more information about Pet Odor Issues please click here.

Many RV and 5th wheel families spend a lot of time on the road in their home on wheels, and when kids and pets are involved, well… things can get messy. You can be confident that Absolute ProCare can clean up all of those spills and accidents, making your carpet and furniture look like new again. Also, please be assured that any product I use is 100% safe around your family, even your four-legged family members. One of the most common questions I get asked is- “How safe are your detergents and deodorizers?”, and my answer to that is always the same. I’ve been in this industry for almost 20 years now. I don’t want to be breathing in anything that’s not safe. I deal with these products every day and want healthy lungs by the time I’m ready to retire.

Another issue I see quite often is rips, holes and frayed areas of carpet in RVs. Most of these types of carpet damage can be corrected. If your carpet has a hole, we would need to take a matching piece from a closet or even under a seat. I would then square off the damaged area and perform a bonded insert (aka patch). Those rips and frayed areas can be fixed as well. More information about our carpet repair services can be found by clicking here.

Does your main traffic areas show wear or darker soiled patterns? The best way to prevent this type of wear is to implement a steady maintenance program. We recommend having your carpets cleaned, whether in your home or RV, every 12 months. Depending on the soil load and time, we can make those areas look great again. The more oil content and length of time those traffic lanes have been there, play into how much improvement can be made.

A great way to keep traffic lanes and spots from becoming permanent is to have a protector (ie ScotchGard Protector) applied after every cleaning. This product works great on the RV seating as well as the carpet. Food and drink spills will clean up more easily. Drinks which contain a food dye (ie Koolaide) will be much easier to remove especially if you deal with them right away.
